Annalise's First Birthday

Annalise continued the Whitmer tradition of sleeping through the first part of the First Birthday Party! We had to wake her up, and our sweet, shy girl would not let me put her down for the first 20 minutes she was awake. She continued to give "the stick eye" and dirty looks to all the people who came to celebrate her day! It was very funny. Just a few pictures from a fun day.

Ok, I know. I've been awful at updating this blog for a bit. Really, almost 3 months...how is that possible? Well, 4 kids, the holidays, barely functioning computer, I guess that's how! I will write more soon, but here are some fun images of the kids.

Oh, this week was full of so many things I DID NOT do, I don't even think MckMama's followers could keep up. I'll only include a few items here.


I was not incredibly giddy when my husband got home. Then, I did not sleep for 16 hours when my husband finally returned from being on a business trip for 6 days.

I did not think about throwing a fit on the second snow day this week. I did cry instead.

I did not spend way too much time on Facebook this week, reading many people's "25 Random things."

I did not allow my daughter to dance in her underwear to 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. I of course did not video it and post it here.





I did not stay up an extra 10 minutes just to wait for MckMama to post Not Me Monday. And I was not thrilled to be number 6! I'm not that competitive against, well, nothing really!

Snow day

Ok, so I was really praying for school today, but alas the will of the Lord overrode my own! So I've tried to make the most of today and document it will my cell phone because Michael took the real camera with him on his business trip. (Please, feel free to bug him about that choice.)
